Sustainable Vision
Royal Garments was born from a vision of elevated fashion, where clothing has meaning and is made slowly with care and intention, using the finest natural and sustainable textiles.
This vision resulted in the idea of creating timeless pieces for spiritual purpose, made by the hands of talented craftswomen and men around the world.
Beyond being intentional with the impact of our lifestyle, we believe that true sustainability can only be achieved by bringing back values of sacredness to everything we do in reconciliation with Christ Jesus. Our work intends to reveal the spiritual dimension and function of clothing and promote the healing of our relationship between creator and creation. Our purpose is to clothe people in holiness, intention, beauty, and responsibility, producing heirloom pieces that can be passed down through generations.
Our WHY is rooted in stewardship. We see fashion as a calling to cultivate and not exploit, to empower and not extract. Sustainability is a guiding principle that shapes every choice we make, from the fibres we source to the packaging we choose for shipping. We choose slow fashion over mass production, natural fibres over synthetics, ethical partnerships over anonymous supply chains, and long term impact over short term gain.
To ensure that our work remains sustainable, we continually measure our practices against four pillars: God, People, Planet, and Purpose. For the planet, we first prioritize renewable and biodegradable fibres such as baby alpaca, which has one of the lowest environmental footprints of any textile. Then, we expand our work with the intention to develop locally handcrafted products in all the markets we are entering. In the delivery of our goods, we ship using compostable bags, avoiding unnecessary plastics, and continue to integrate recyclable, plant-based, and reusable materials across our production chain. For people, we invest in artisans, not factories, and ensure that every hand in the process is treated with dignity and respect.
For purpose, we design garments that last. Our ponchos, prayer mantles and luxury pieces are crafted to endure seasons, not trends. We encourage customers to buy less and more valuable pieces, and to care for their garments so that they can be treasured for a lifetime. In every decision, we ask: “will this be a benefit to our stakeholders beyond the transactional nature of our work? Will this be a benefit to the territories we operate in? Will this be a benefit to families across generations? Does this align with our vision and the future that God has for humanity?” These questions guard our mission and keep us aligned with our values.
Our vision for the future is to expand into regenerative practices, clean energy production methods, and circular fashion systems. From local alpaca herders, to regional artisans, to global partners – we believe sustainability becomes powerful when it becomes collective and intentional in every decision. Royal Garments exists to model a new way forward, where spirituality is practical and omnipresent, luxury is responsible, beauty is ethical, and fashion is restorative.
