Empowering Local Craftswomen

The current Royal Garments lines are produced by the skill and resilience of local Peruvian Craftswomen who carry ancestral weaving knowledge passed down through generations.

We work consistently with two artisan cooperatives in the Andes, and each community specializes in different techniques from weaving to hand finishing.

These women are not employees of a system seeking to profit as much as possible from their labour and craft.  They are honoured partners, transitioning earthly traditions into heavenly culture, and they are co-creators in our mission. Together, we craft garments that give a new life and Kingdom purpose to Andean ancestral wisdom and craftsmanship.

Working with local artisans means respecting the rhythm of the terroir rather than imposing industrial global timelines. We embrace slower, more humane production cycles because intention, quality and dignity go hand in hand. In these communities, weaving is a foundational skill to life. It’s a language expressing stories through designs and symbols. It’s a heritage shared across generations. It’s a spiritual practice of communion with God and it’s one of the most reliable ways to insure families are fed and provided for during global uncertainty.

By partnering with them directly, we support the sanctification and preservation of these traditions that would otherwise risk being replaced by fast fashion factories and the rapid transformation of Peru.

We believe that empowerment means fair pay, long term relationships, skill development, shared creativity and generating opportunities for the families of our artisans to adapt to the twentieth century world on their own terms. We do not compulsively negotiate prices down to the lowest possible number. Instead, we collaborate to set rates that are sustainable and help them develop their personal projects, homes, communities and futures. We also provide design collaboration, business exposure, and access to new markets they would not otherwise reach.

While Royal Garments is intended to generate local empowerment, our vision is global. We are actively scouting and developing new artisan talent in other regions of Peru and around the World. As the brand grows, we aim to release limited edition local pieces from different cultures, always upholding the same ethical standards. One aspect of our vision is to build a global network of empowered craftswomen/men with Kingdom Purpose.  Rising together into visionary fashion, rather than adapting to impersonal industry practices competing against each other in poverty.

When you wear a Royal Garment, you are not simply wearing a product.

You are wearing visionary fashion weaved with substance and story. You wear the values in which it was made.  You wear what it represents. You wear the purpose and intention it carries.

Our garments carry the promise of God, and the legacy of that promise for the Children of God.

Owning and passing down a Royal Garments Mantle is symbolic of the empowerment of women, Kingdom values, honouring Land Guardians, and the unification of all people within the Body of Christ for Eternity.
